North Wales - Activities For the Adventurous Visitor

If you are thinking of staying in a North Wales Cottage in the near future and have a bit of an adventurous side then you should look into some of the great activities that are on offer in the area. In this article we will look at a selection of things to do for all you budding Evel Knevils.

Ropeworks
Ropeworks is an activity that is suited to anyone who dreamt of being Tarzan as a child. This exciting attraction allows you to get high in the air and take part in some breathtaking challenges requiring you to jump from trapeze, fly along zip wires and do a lot of climbing. The activity is set at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park which is very close to Snowdonia.

Llyn Adventure Activities

Based out of Abersoch, Llyn Adventure activities provide activities including Abseiling, Coastal Walks, Canyoning and Coasteering.

As someone who has recently been Coasteering, I can thoroughly recommend it. This activity requires you to don a wetsuit, put on a safety helmet and floating aid and start traversing coastlines. Expert instructors will show you the best places to climb and the correct techniques for jumping off the cliffs into the sea.

Parc Glasfryn

More of a family activity day out, Parc Glasfryn will still provide you with great entertainment on your Holiday in North Wales. The Park has many activities including Go Karting, Quad Bike Safari, Bowling, Archery and Fishing. If you are bringing children along, then there is a great indoor play area that will keep them entertained with slides and ball pools.

Surf-Lines Ltd, Llanberis

Surf-lines provide pretty much any water based activity you can think of. They base their activities around Oceans, Rivers and Mountains meaning you can go Canoeing, Kayaking, Mountain Climbing, Surfing.

The activities that Surf-Lines organise are a really great way to see the Region of North Wales and any adventurous types visiting the area should visit their website.
