A Simple Guide to Globe Trekking

People all over the world spend lots of time deliberating on where to go on their vacation, whether that vacation is an annual event or happens more frequently. People, of course, want to have a good time and enjoy themselves when away from the commitments of everyday life.

Whether packing up a leather journal inside handmade bags and going backpacking through Europe or taking a flight to an exotic locale in Asia there are countless options for eager travelers to look into across the globe.

Depending on each individuals interests there could be literally thousands of suitable destinations so to make it a little easier to decide where to go there are lots of travel guides available.

One possible travel destination is the beautiful country of Spain. Spain is a country of vast beauty and varying landscapes, one could brave the heat and arid temperatures of sunny southern Spain, show off their beach bodies on the northeastern coast of Barcelona, or head to the urban metropolis and capitol of Spain, Madrid.

Southern Spain is the area of the country where one would be most likely to find the influence of the Moors left over. The Moors invaded Spain from North Africa hundreds of years ago and travelers can still see architecture in this part of the country that resembles Northern Africa and the Middle East.

Popular activities in this part of the nation include flamenco, an exotic dance and music style and (although also popular through the rest of the nation) bullfighting is also especially big in the southern regions.

Another country very popular with tourists is England. Because of their imperial history there is an incredible amount of things of historic importance in England, largely located in London. At the British Museum one can see, among other things, the Rosetta stone which is a multilingual piece of rock on which ancient Egyptians inscribed text.

For those more inclined to modern things and nature there is the northern region of the country known as the Lake District where there are countless beautiful lakes and forests, set among gorgeous and quaint small towns.

For music buffs there is also lots to see. Liverpool, located generally in the Northwest, is the city that The Beatles are from and there is a place in the city called The Beatles Story which allows visitors to journey through the lives, culture and of course the music of the legendary band.

For those not wanting to have to deal with the generally ugly weather of England and still are not satisfied with the climate of Spain there is the Caribbean. The Caribbean is a blanket term that encompasses most of the islands situated south of Puerto Rico, and there are literally hundreds of sleepy island paradises' for travelers to choose from.

Traveling is one of the most rewarding things that a person can do and there are countless destinations across the world that would satisfy anyone. With the right guides, proper planning and a good attitude it is very easy to have an excellent vacation.
