Backpacking Around the World - Where to Go?

Backpacking around the world is an exciting adventure. The prospect has stirred millions of westerners for years which are why so many young people jet off each to see the various parts of the world.

Sometimes it can be difficult navigating the various travelling prospects which is why some research has to go into your backpacking adventure.

The best way to establish where you want to go is through getting a worldwide map and pinning on it all the places in the world you'd like to travel to. Depending on budgeting constraints you may need to work out whether travelling to all the places on the list is viable or not.

The next step is to establish whether your government both endorsees your travel to the various locations.

There are many parts of the world in which it is not possible for Americans to go to. Cuba is good example. After making sure you can travel to these locations, you'll need to establish whether these countries are actually safe to travel to.

Sometimes many far out places are just too expensive. Government websites will help with this endeavor as many countries put out advisories on other countries outlining travel viability to those parts.

Sometimes you'll just have a gut feel as to whether a country is viable or not and sometimes it is important that you go with your gut and decide not to travel to a certain place - that it may be just too dangerous. In any case, doing viable research is going to help you tremendously.
